We are currently looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented customer service representative to deliver unwavering support to our residential customers.

As a key member of the sales and customer service team of Emterra Environmental USA, the incumbent will enjoy a comprehensive and competitive total rewards program including:

• Receive customer service calls;
• Communicate with appropriate personnel and sales representatives to effectively address customer concerns;
• Work as a liaison between our other offices, vendors, and customers;
• Handle customer inquiries with courteous, professional phone skills;
• Work closely with the applicable staff to ensure routes are completed and paperwork from drivers are correct;
• Work as part of a small administrative team that supports the Flint operations;
• Perform daily data entry including route data and fuel logs;
• Issue/receive PO’s in Business Central (software); submit invoices for payment; validate some invoices;
• Maintain office files.

• High school diploma or GED equivalency; job related post-secondary education considered an asset;
• Minimum two years previous experience working in a customer service/office assistant role;
• Ability to act with diplomacy and professionalism;
• Strong computer skills, with proficiency in using Microsoft applications (MS Word, Excel) and excellent keyboarding/data entry skills;
• Experience with report writers;
• Experience with data entry and the generation of reports;
• Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as necessary;
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Experience in the waste management and recycling industry preferred;
• A friendly personality combined with a “roll-up your sleeves and get it done attitude.”
