My client is the market leading provider of SaaS solutions. They are looking for a CTO to join their business to ensure their product remains at the forefront of this highly competitive market.

This will be a highly visible role reporting into MD with responsibility to take technology to the next level, driving the technology strategy and supporting product, operations and sales to enable faster growth and improved customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Strategy:
• Define the technology strategy and drive its implementation.
• Support decision making through an appreciation of the technological context within which the business operates, in order to ensure good corporate governance.
• Evangelize as needed to inspire people inside and outside the company and drive change where necessary.
• Review and validate the technological aspects of partners and supplier relationships.
• Engage with customers, partners, investors and other stakeholders to provide technical... assurance and strategic clarity and build confidence in the market in relation to the technical competence across the business.
• Support marketing efforts to promote the technical excellence across the organisation to target communities

Product support:
• Develop a working relationship with product management and engineering to drive solution features and architectures.
• Work with the Product Team to investigate, prototype, and define the technical solutions for the immediate and strategic vision for the company
• Outline the goals for research (research plans) and UX/UI team
• Contribute to CVP development through engagement with the product team.

Technical Architecture:
• Translation of high-level technical vision to solid architectural designs that translate into executable product roadmaps or focused M&A activity
• Provide in-depth architectural plans and work with the development teams to bring new products and features from vision to delivery Communicate complex technical challenges and solutions across the company in a way that is easily understood at all levels.
• Provide architectural vision, direction, and governance to guide teams in the development and maintenance of new and existing software.
• Support the Architecture team to maximize the effectiveness and alignment of architectural decision making
• Define the security, data privacy and compliance of the operations so it is maximized through the technologies used across the business
• Review the technical debt within the business and prioritize the resolution of this within the resources available, supporting the associated decision-making processes to minimize the adverse impact.

Operational support:
• Lead the response to external transformation initiatives in the technology.
• Act as the technical executive on business-critical programmes to create new products and services.
• Support the resolution of persistent and highly complex operational issues in the technical domain.
• Contribute to the DevOps and automation processes across the business to increase quality, reduce time to market and streamline operational costs
• Create reports and metrics on the technology strategy and other areas as appropriate.

Skills and Competencies:
• Excellent general communications skills, able to engage with fluency both technical and non-technical staff
• Deep understanding of the Resource Management and PSA markets and associated technologies, business processes and the complexities of the Project and Resource Management Market
• Familiarity with the wider fintech landscape
• Leadership of technical teams in the widest sense, both software and environmental,
• Credible across technical domains
• Experience of working with multiple collaborating teams in different organizations
• Experience of high security service delivery

• A Masters or Degree level qualification in a technological subject.
