We are a growing physiotherapy clinic in Dublin 12 that focuses on manual therapy and rehabilitation. The newly refurbished rehabilitation unit is ready to cater for all current and prospective clients.

We are currently looking for 1) Chartered Physiotherapist (CORU registered or eligible for registration, ISCP member or eligible for membership) to come on board on a part time capacity with view of making the contract permanent 2) Mat Pilate instructor 3) Reformer Pilate instructor. These are three potential roles. However, if they can be fulfilled by one or two individuals that can be facilitated.

The newly refurbished rehabilitation unit consists of 2 private treatment rooms, large Pilate studio for all reformer/mat Pilate classes and a fully equipped strength and conditioning area for rehab. There is an emphasis on exercise prescription and rehabilitation throughout the clinic, especially Pilates based rehab. Our caseload is varied and includes Sports Injuries (Amateur to... professional level), Musculoskeletal injuries, Pre/Post op care, Spinal/joint pain conditions and Vestibular patients. Specialist services include gait assessment, orthotic prescription, acupuncture, dry needling, Strength testing, ergonomic assessments, mat Pilate , reformer Pilate and S&C. Previous private practice and Pilate experience is desirable but new graduates will also be considered. A skill set suited to MSK and sports injuries is beneficial as is a willingness to work off site and at the weekends (can be discussed further). The successful applicant/applicants can use the gym and studio facilities for their own personal use.

Roles and responsibilities for physiotherapist:
• Carrying a varied caseload (as described above)
• Independently assess, diagnose, develop treatment plans, provide treatment accordingly along with provision of rehabilitation programme.
• Patient education and excellent communication skills.
• Able to combine manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation.
• Have excellent clinical reasoning and treatment planning skills.
• Keeping up to date with admin responsibilities. Completing patient notes, logging/managing payments, managing own patient diary and issuing receipts
• Liaise with local GPs and healthcare professionals in a timely manner.
• Assist the marketing team in generating new patients.
• Willingness to build own patient caseload.
• Able to work within the team and as an autonomous practitioner.

Roles and responsibilities for Pilate instructor:
• Managing patients at various stages of their rehabilitation in the mat and reformer classes.
• Able to modify exercises for each attendee as appropriate depending on their ability and pain response.
• Patient education and excellent communication skills.
• Keeping up to date with admin responsibilities. Completing attendee log, logging/managing payments and issuing receipts.
• Liaising with clients in person, over the phone or e-mail.
• Assist the marketing team in generating new patients.
• Willingness to build own patient caseload.
• Able to work within the team and as an autonomous practitioner.
