Location: This role could be based in either our Wythall, London, Edinburgh or Telford offices with week spent working in the office and at home.

Salary and benefits:Base salary of £55,000 to £86,900 depending on experience, plus 16% bonus up to 32%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more

The role

As a Capital Model Actuary, you will support the maintenance and development of our capital models, engaging with a wide range of senior stakeholders to ensure our models adapt to the evolving needs of the business.

You can expect a role that requires you to blend your goodtechnical capabilities with good people and project management skills. Your day-to-day will be varied – you could be contributing to strategic initiatives, interacting with the regulator, performing deep technical analysis on market risks, presenting to governance committees, coaching and mentoring actuarial trainees, and so on.

What are we looking for?

You are capable of digesting complex issues and developing pragmatic, workable solutions to help Phoenix achieve ourstrategic aims. We welcome candidatesfrom a broad range of disciplines (e.g. reserving/reporting, pricing, investments etc.) to apply.Solvency II experience is desirable but not essential.
