Food Concepts Plc was incorporated on 6 December 1999 as Food Concepts & Entertainment Limited and commenced operations in 2000. The Company was converted from a Private Limited Liability Company into a Public Limited Liability Company and the Company’s name was subsequently changed to Food Concepts Plc. by a Special Resolution dated 10 May 2009.

Following its incorporation, Food Concepts secured franchises from reputable South African Quick Service Restaurant operators to manage and operate their brands in Nigeria. The Company subsequently acquired and developed other Brands, such as, Chicken Republic, PieXpress, Butterfield, Yum Yum and The Chop Box.
Following a corporate restructuring and divestment, the Company now owns and operates the Chicken Republic, PieXpress and The Chop Box brands as its proprietary food brands.
Chicken Republic is currently trading in 129 locations across Nigeria and Ghana and has plans in place to operate 430 stores by the end of... 2024.
PieXpress began trading in 2019 and we presently operate 48 stores in Nigeria, with plans in place to operate 247 PieXpress units by the end of 2024.
We recently launched our new brand, The Chop Box and presently have one outlet in Lagos.

To manage the various elements of the supply chain in such a manner that ensures goods and other inventory items are transported, stored and delivered on time and in good condition to the production units, stores and the regional warehouse hubsCore Responsibilities and Key Result AreasIdentify and implement cost saving measures to reduce Food Concepts’ cost of storing and handling goods/equipmentGenerate and analyze reports at pre-defined and agreed intervals to aid decisions relating to inventory and working capital managementEnsure accuracy of stock picked for shipmentEnsure zero stock losses both in Warehouse and in-transit to stores and regional warehouse hubsEnsure full monitor adherence to health, safety and environmental guidelinesEnsuring receipt of goods in line with specifications on purchase orders or as instructed by Supply Chain DivisionApplication of appropriate asset management procedures in order to achieve maximum return on assetsContinuous evaluation of warehouse security and implementation of necessary measures to maintain safety of stock.Develop preventative maintenance systems and contingency plans.Ensure supervision of picked stock in staging area of the warehouseSupport in the offloading and loading of stocks in the warehouseParticipate in cycle counting and monthly stock count activitiesMaintain high standard of housekeeping and hygiene in work area assignedProvide regular update on stock position as may be requiredResponsible for monthly stock reconciliation with Central Kitchen, Pie Production Units, Pie Xpress Kiosks and Chicken Republic outletsKey Performance Indicators:Delivery turnaround timeQuality of stock deliveredSavings on of goods/servicesZero stock out in all storesAchieved/Exceed agreed targetKnowledge RequirementsKnowledge of various ERP – Oracle, Micros etc.Office productivity software programs such as word processing, databases, spreadsheet programs, and communications software.
