We are seeking an Associate Brand Manager to join our Marketing Team.

Reporting into the Marketing Team, the Associate Brand Manager will lead selected APL projects and brand execution to ensure a consistent brand experience across all touchpoints. The Associate Brand Manager will work closely with the VQA Brand Management Team to develop and execute VQA marketing... strategies building the VQA portfolio to ensure strong market share and brand equity. This teammate will manage the various aspects of the marketing mix, regional activations and support cross-functional teams.

We are looking for a teammate with:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field from a recognized institution or similar in-role experience
• 3+ years of progressive marketing experience preferably in the beer/wine/spirits industry or CPG Brand Marketing
• WSET Level 2 in Wines or similar equivalent certification (WSET 3 Preferred)
• Significant experience and understanding of core marketing fundamentals
• Experience in project management from concept to completion
• The ability to quickly build strong relationships, high level of creativity and strong attention to detail
• Knowledge in digital social media marketing, who has a passion for both digital and traditional media
• Ability to develop and demonstrate creativity/new ideas that challenge the status quo
• The Desire to develop strong business acumen and understanding of budget management
• Who can work effectively with internal and external partners

This teammate will be accountable for:
• Learning and acquiring marketing fundamentals including creation of advertising for in and out of store, media plan creation
• Developing and executing strategic consumer promotions, execution and analysis, equity building primary and secondary packaging development and market research
• Creating and translating brand positioning to short and long-term marketing plans for new & improved products, providing input on long-term brand forecasts, packaging improvements, pricing, advertising/media, and all relevant key touch points including influencers and wine media
• Executing within defined brand positioning to short and long-term marketing plans
• Creation and execution of the consumer initiatives & tactics in the marketing plan by tracking business impact, assessing ROI and ensuring budgets are being managed accurately
• Analysis of ongoing whole market, VQA category and brand analysis to inform strategies and plans
• Budgeting set brand projects and follows budget stewardship and tracking
• Leading the cross functional team communication to deliver new innovation including line extensions and projects.
• Supporting the expansion of brands and innovations into new markets ON, PQ, ATL, AB, SK, MB and Export.
• Demonstrating initiative and creativity with partnership programs and grass root marketing actions that increase brand awareness and support product launches and campaigns.
• Participating in the development and adaptation of copy strategy as needed with brand specifics and its execution (POS, packaging, website, PR, social media).
• Supporting execution of commercial plans for new and existing products, ensuring strong partnerships with Customer marketing teams
