The role of the Transport Planner is to be a committed member of the 24/7 Transport team. To work collaboratively with all transport operations to deliver the shared aim of consistently providing excellent services for their customers.

This role is 37.5 hours per week, working nights with the opportunity to work overtime. Salary £40,000 per annum.

Your main responsibilities on a day to day basis will be:-
• To build strong, collaborative relationships with our customers, putting their best interest at the forefront of everything we do, delivering consistently high levels of customer satisfaction to over 35 airlines in the UK and Europe.
• Managing high volumes of workload, circa 600 emails a day, as well as dealing with cliental on the phone.
• Planning workloads to ensure all targets are planned, met and exceeded consistently.
• Leading in delivering a solution driven attitude when managing changes to 'on the day bookings' (60% of... all transport is pre booked, 40% is on the day bookings).
• Ensuring that the company operates within all agreed operational procedures and within statutory requirements including the provision and maintenance of a safe working environment.

To be successful in this role you will need:-
• Previous knowledge of transport planning.
• Previous experience of working in a busy transport operation.
• Knowledge of Air and Road Logistics.
• Experience of working in a busy office environment.
• Adaptable and able to think on your feet.
• Ability to work under pressure.
