Location: Thomasville, GA (On-site), with consideration for remote candidates within driving distance of Tallahassee, FL, or willing to relocate to North Florida or South Georgia.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Water Resources Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time on-site role based in Thomasville, GA, with the possibility of remote work for qualified candidates living within driving distance of Tallahassee, FL, or willing to relocate to North Florida or South Georgia. As a Water Resources Engineer, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, including stormwater management, water quality analysis, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, water distribution, and wastewater collection. The successful candidate will play a key role in project design, construction oversight, and client interaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design and Documentation:
• Develop and prepare comprehensive project documents.
• Ensure adherence to established engineering standards and practices.
• Process Improvement:
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and deliverables.
• Collaborate with the team to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Project Management:
• Assign tasks to and direct engineers, technicians, and administrative staff.
• Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of engineering work.
• Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
• Proposal and Funding Assistance:
• Assist in the preparation of proposals for professional services or funding for engineering projects.
• Support business development efforts.
• Technical Expertise:
• Apply water resource management and hydrology skills to projects.
• Conduct stormwater and stormwater management activities.
• Perform water quality analysis and contribute to related projects.
• Construction Project Oversight:
• Design and manage construction projects related to water resources.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.
• Communication and Client Interaction:
• Interact with clientele, travel to clients, customers, officials, contractors, and others as needed.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) License is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in water resources engineering.
• Strong water resource management and hydrology skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software, including AutoCAD, ICPR4, ArcGIS, and Civil 3D.
• Experience in stormwater and stormwater management.
• Excellent technical writing skills and the ability to prepare detailed reports.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and managing construction projects related to water resources
