The resource will replace the Maternity of the Head of Communication, PR and Social Media within the Marketing & Communication Department of NH Hotel Group Italia and will deal with external communication of B2C and B2B products (Italian hotels of the NH Collection, NH Hotels, Avani and nhow brands) and corporate (NH Hotel Group, part of Minor). Target audience: journalists, influencers, consumers. The resource will have the support of the agency: Omnicom PR Group.


In charge of the PR, Communication and Social Media plan for the country and the main Italian hotels, coordinated with the strategy and objectives of Sales, Marketing and Operations.

Support and align the strategy with the Company's one at a global level (coordination with the NH Hotel Group PR, Communication and Social Media headquarters located in Madrid).

Increase brand awareness and word of mouth on the hotels of the 4 NH Hotel Group brands in Italy: NH Collection, NH Hotels, Avani and nhow Milano by increasing the media value, the number of clippings and the audience compared to last year.

Implementation of existing local communication projects and development of new concepts/ideas/off-line and on-line communication activities and hotel services within the strategy that the Group's hotels are the perfect "place to be” for both business and leisure travellers.

Storytelling and copywriting (press releases / press kits, brochures, invitations, flyers, newsletters, adv, interviews, etc.).

Management of PR, B2C and B2B events (Opening, party, conference and press, product and/or service launches, institutional lunches/dinners, media calls, vernissage, photo shooting, etc.)

Organization of events and trips for the national press (both one-to-one and group)

Management of complimentary stays in Italian hotels for journalists and national influencers. For international ones, the activity will take place under the coordination of the NH Hotel Group PR, Communication and Social Media headquarters located in Madrid. The aim is to increase the number of visits by journalists/influencers to Italian hotels in order to increase their visibility and transform journalists and influencers into real promoters of NH Hotel Group brands and hotels through personalized stays.

Support to the organization for international press trips under the coordination of the NH Hotel Group PR, Communication and Social Media headquarters located in Madrid.

Social media content strategy and management of NH Hotel Group's (5) Italian social media accounts: development and implementation of the local social media strategy aligned with the global one and with the local marketing calendar of the various brands / hotels.

Involvement of influencers and VIPs in external communication activities and projects.

Management of institutional relations.

Crisis management.

Coordination of the local press agency Omnicom PR Group.

Achieve awards for the hotels in main travel and lifestyle media


Master's degree in Communication or journalism

Minimum experience in PR & Communication (agency or company): 10+ years

In-depth knowledge and professional management skills of the main social networks (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)

Have good contacts with journalists

Excellent knowledge of Italian and English (knowledge of Spanish is also a plus)

Excellent organization, planning and deadline compliance skills

Analysis skills, attention to detail and problem solving

Proven experience in people management

Strong propensity for teamwork, dialogue and internal sharing

Availability to travel (mainly in Italy
