ComAp is increasing its footprint in Africa, focusing on the Southern Africa region. We are looking for energetic, passionate and customer service driven individuals to join our emerging team. Your main aim will be to gain new business opportunities and increase market share in the region. You will be working closely with our customers, building long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs. You will also keep in touch with colleagues from the HQ in Prague and other worldwide subsidiaries.

Your daily work will include the following:
• Finding new potential customers and business opportunities
• Sales and commercial support of existing ComAp clients
• Compiling of offers and quotations for existing or potential ComAp customers
• Establishing, developing and maintaining good professional long-term relationships and communication with existing and potential ComAp clients, customers, and partners
• Regularly prepare and update sales forecast... for the respective customers
• Planning and arrangement of exhibitions when required
• Conduct market research to understand competitors and market trends

What we expect from you:
• Experience in sales or customer-facing support role in the industrial engine or marine market
• Knowledge of Diesel or Gas Power Generation, Industrial engines, ComAp portfolio know-how is a great advantage
• Confidence in building strong relationships with our customers in the region
• Strategic thinking, proactivity and ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts
• Electrical Qualifications and willingness to go into technical sales - ComAp will provide training as required
• Be prepared to travel to visit our customers across the whole SADC region, travel overseas to our HQ in the Czech Republic or other subsidiaries in the EMEA region
• To have a full and preferably clean driving license
