The organization has as an objective to centralize enterprise security risks, effectively record them, qualify/quantify them, manage them to keep them within appetite and report on them regularly.

This is a role for individuals with 2-4 years of experience in Information Security. The role will be to lead and manage Data Classification and IS risk management activities for assigned business lines. Responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments and assisting in developing policies and procedures related to risk management. The Information Security Analyst will also assist in monitoring the overall risk level and assist in monitoring remediation efforts.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
• Help guide IS officers and managers in taking tactical decisions as required
• Act as a Security representative with other teams (DPO, Operational Risk, Legal …) as needed on topics such as Data Classification and Risk management and provide... clear argumentation for first level decisions
• Monitor risk and appetite level through collecting information & measuring indicators and gathering evidence as needed
• Assist in developing new metrics to adapt to the changes in the IS Risk landscape
• Lead Information Security Application risk assessments and monitor remediation actions
• Lead data classification activities on multiple business lines and manage Data Classification activities at an enterprise level
• Foster relationship with business owners and act as a point of contact regarding Information Security topics for those owners
• Review evidence on any IS controls as needed
• Prepare, format and lead presentation to key stakeholders (audit, business representatives, managers) as needed
• Perform risk assessment and risk management activities, such as identifying new risks, and helping assessing their impact and likelihood (using quantification methods)
• Assist in evidence gathering and documentation for audits, assessments, and investigations.
• Act as a Security representative in audits as required
• Analyze security metrics to measure the effectiveness of security controls and assist on the reporting on security posture to management.
• Monitor specific RAMPs as required: Risk Acknowledgment and Mitigation Plans, temporary exception to the IS policy presenting a risk to the company Maintain awareness of emerging threats and vulnerabilities to help identify potential risks to the organization.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to facilitate information sharing and effective communication.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, computer science / engineering with 4-5 years IS experience
• Certifications: Working towards obtaining security certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Security+ can be an advantage.
• A keen interest in Information Security.
• Good interpersonal skills and good writing skills
• Good collaboration and team working skills
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Fluent in English
• Good mathematical understanding of statistics
• Proficient in scripting tools / programming (Preferred).
• Culture of AI / Machine learning (Preferred).
