Location: Scarborough

We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Administrator to join the team at our Scarborough site. Responsible for providing administrative assistance to the HR team, this role reports to the HR Manager.

About you:
• To be successful, ideally you will be CIPD qualified (or working towards this), supported with a demonstrable track record of success in a similar role as defined in this advert.
• As a technically competent HR generalist, you will be comfortable offering best practice advice across the entire employee journey, from recruitment right through to retirement and everything in between.
• You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and you should be comfortable influencing and negotiating at all levels.
• Pragmatic and resilient, you will be comfortable in a fast-moving environment, where it pays to have a sense of urgency and drive to see things through to completion.
• Finally, you will be highly IT literate, being a competent user of Microsoft Office, as well as HR/Payroll/Finance systems.

• Standard hours are 37 hours per week split over 4 days Monday-Thursday.

About your new role:
• HR Administrative duties - Contracts, RTW, Disciplinary and Grievance support
• Assist maintaining confidentiality of HR records, E-Filing systems and Input of holidays and absence
• Maintain personnel information
• Support absence management procedures & Return-to-Work process.
• Support employees on and returning from long term sickness
• Liaise and advise Payroll of any new starters/leavers weekly/monthly pay/salary adjustments
• Manage daily Time Sheet & Labor Hours processes as required
• Process & respond to any HR/Payroll correspondence
• Provide monthly management information and reports as required e.g., sickness/overtime and holiday
• Provide Time and Attendance systems/report training to Team Leaders
• Provide any administrative support as required
• Any other duties as required
