All of the positions listed in our vacancy announcement have common basic requirements for candidates which are listed as below,
• be residing in Nepal and have a Nepalese citizenship/Passport as all roles described below are targeted basically to candidates living in Nepal. If you live outside Nepal and are looking for a job, please write us on Linkedin directly and we will discuss it on a case by case basis.
• a bachelor’s degree in any STEM field, also degree in history, politics are preferred for analyst roles.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills demonstrated by high level of collaboration with team members and yet be able to handle tasks independently.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Any other languages are an asset, especially Arabic, Mandarin, Portuguese, German etc.

• For developers specifically, delivering high quality code that is maintainable, scalable and performant, along with documentation of the code, and then ability of knowledge transfer to fellow developers.
Following are the description of individual roles and responsibilities for each position. The roles are on a long-term contract basis for Nepal.
Senior Frontend Software Developers ( React / Angular ) : 2 people
• Deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code for end-to-end solutions.
• Support and mentor software engineers, conduct code reviews and pair programming.
• Document solutions comprehensively, and mitigate issues by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Typescript and major JavaScript UI frameworks (e.g., Angular, ReactJS).
• Experience with relational/non-relational databases and multi-tenant databases.
• A strong understanding of design patterns.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development, Dockerized environments, Git, GitHub, CI/CD.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence
• test/integrate third party APIs for integration
• well versed with Linux and Windows OS for development.
• ability to set up and use virtual machines, VPNs.
Senior Backend Software Developers (3 people : 1 for Java/Python, 2 Python-Django/Flask )
• Deliver high quality code that is scalable, maintainable and performant, also by adhering to company coding standards and test mechanisms, documentation procedures.
• Providing guidance, coaching, and educational opportunities to support and develop fellow software engineers. This includes organising and participating in code reviews and pair programming sessions.
• Collaborating closely with Support Team engineers to swiftly address issues reported by system end-users.
• Documenting solutions comprehensively through various mediums such as documentation, flowcharts, and clear code comments.
• Committing to continuous self-improvement by staying ahead of state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and industry trends. This involves participating in educational opportunities, staying updated with professional publications, and actively engaging with personal networks and professional organisations.
• Proficiency in Java OR Python-Flask OR Django-Python. You can have either of these qualifications and we will consider the application.
• Familiarity with Apache NiFi, caching technologies like Hazelcast, and Zookeeper.
• Experience with Big Data analytical platforms, including data integration for building data pipelines.

• Understanding of Test-Driven Development, Dockerized environments, Git/GitLab and CI/CD. Working knowledge on docker containers.
• Ability to execute full life-cycle software development, encompassing requirements, design, implementation, testing, debugging, integration, and system testing.
• Senior DevOps ( 1 person )
• conduct automated on-premises/cloud tests of the platform end-to-end.
• maintain servers from various perspectives, operational, basic security, monitoring workflow. backup to cloud/on-premises etc.
• proficiency in devops tools, containerization, and container orchestration.
• good knowledge of applied cryptographic techniques relevant to devops practices.
• proficiency in Python, bash scripting. Golang and Rust skills are welcome.
• knowledge of developing and testing APIs using python/bash/golang.
• Elasticsearch experience of 3+ years, on scaling Elasticsearch across multiple nodes, experience with working data volumes in Terabytes in Elasticsearch for storing/monitoring etc.
• knowledge of data processing/parsing technologies.
• knowledge of cloud server backups and restoring, on AWS, and self-hosted environments.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative Analytical skills.
• Strong communicative skills in English.
• Tools like Docker, Elasticsearch, python, bash, Apache Kafka, Kubernetes etc.
Senior Analysts ( 1 person )
• Conducting intelligence gathering and analysis, deep-dive research and investigation;
• Assist in developing new tools and capabilities for threat analysis;
• Delivering high quality reporting to customers and internal stakeholders.
• 2+ years of experience in Analyst roles in any cybersecurity domain, familiar with the risk and fraud landscape.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative Analytical skills.
• Strong communicative skills in English. Either Arabic, Mandarin, or Spanish language skills would be an advantage.
• Strong skills on MS-Excel.
• Programming skills are highly valued, especially python for analysis and any graphical library for visualisation.
