About The Job
We are in search of a committed Data Privacy Specialist to join our team at the Kolding site, while also offering advisory support to our sites in Søborg and Aalborg. In this role, you'll be crucial in ensuring GDPR compliance across all three locations and supporting diverse business processes. Working closely with our legal team, you'll... contribute to fostering a culture of privacy awareness within our organization.
Your main responsibilities:
• Act as the GDPR focal point for our Kolding site and offer advisory support to Søborg and Aalborg.
• Support business processes across all three sites to ensure GDPR compliance.
• Educate and advise business process owners and data custodians.
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of current GDPR compliance levels and conduct risk assessments.
• Develop and implement practices to establish and maintain GDPR compliance.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest legal GDPR requirements.
• Support the implementation of technical solutions to enhance compliance processes.
• Participate in new projects and initiatives aimed at ensuring immediate compliance.
• Align and standardize implementations across all sites.
• Foster collaboration between our legal and IT departments.
• Cultivate a culture of privacy awareness across all three sites.
• Lead, drive, and participate in operational activities related to Data Mapping, Data Subject Access Requests, Data Protection Impact Assessments, and Data Breaches
The position will be based in Kolding, Denmark. We expect travel activity to be approximately 10-25 days a year.
What You Know
We're seeking an enthusiastic person with a passion for data privacy and compliance. You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Fluency in both English and Danish is essential. Prior experience with GDPR compliance and a willingness to stay updated on legal requirements are essential.
Who You Are
We expect that you are outgoing and thrive to work independently. You will have a good level of pedagogical skills as many of our business process owners does not have GDPR as a core skillset. You'll collaborate with numerous individuals in a broad and complex system landscape, making it crucial for you to work in a structured manner that provides clarity.
As a person you are interested in creating relations and have a natural interest in the mix of business processes, GDPR and digitalization.
You have the ability to engage at all levels of the business, whether it's establishing practices with key users or aligning priorities with management.
