• Job Summary: *
Manufacturing Engineers (ME) develop production methods using manufacturing discipline in a controlled environment. They develop manufacturing engineering skills, an understanding of manufacturing (cost, quality, safety and schedule), and Raytheon systems and tools. MEs build technical depth in manufacturing processes and are accountable for improvement and optimization. This is a blended role that encompasses not only the manufacturing engineering tasks but will also require collaboration and influence with a program.
• Responsibilities to Anticipate:*

Design, control, and improve the manufacturing process through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team
Improve cycle time and lead time
Implement manufacturing process control and performance monitoring
Create and oversee improvement projects
Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
Perform hardware defect analysis
Participate in corrective action investigations
Participation in ERB/CCB, LOB, production increment planning, daily stand-ups, as the Ops representative
Providing Effectivities for Variances/IRs/CNs
Understanding the configurations of hardware that are planned to be built for a contract, and helping to ensure the factory is set up for success
• Basic Qualifications:*

Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF).
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Preferred Qualifications:*
Preferred degrees: Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering
Experience with manufacturing
Experience with interpretation of technical documentation
Experience with project execution
Experience with SAP
Experience or education with lean manufacturing
Experience with technical writing
Strong engineering aptitude and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Technical problem solving
Current DOD Security clearance
Current program clearance
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Working Environments:
This position involves direct support of manufacturing activities and requires spending time in and around factory areas.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
