Our private-sector client, a law firm in Orleans, ON, is looking for a Bilingual Staff Accountant to join their team. Competitive salary range: $55,000-$65,000

About you

To succeed in this role, you will need:
• Experience in financial statement preparation.
• Expertise with Quickbooks Online.
• Bilingual fluency in French and English.
• Experience with HST filings.
• Preferential experience as a law firm accountant using Clio.

About the role

If hired, you will:
• Overseeing firm-wide accounting activities (financial statements, HST fillings)
• Managing accounting and reconciliation of internal entities
• Supporting AP/AR team
• Completing audits and maintaining organized ledgers
• Assessing and improving internal procedures
• Meeting reporting deadlines and... delivering year-end requirements
• Utilizing analytical software to track industry trends.
