As a Project Manager focused on process improvement, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing workflows, ensuring efficiency and quality, for a core business unit of a Higher Education institution. Your primary objective is to map and analyse internal business processes, identifying bottlenecks and efficiency losses to continuously improve the way teams work. This role requires a keen understanding of project management principles, coupled with a strong focus on process optimization and enhancement.

Responsibilities:

- Design project plans outlining timelines and resources involved.

- Regularly assess existing processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

- Collaborate with the different sub-areas of this business unit, to gather input... and ensure processes meet various needs.

- Design workflows that enhance project efficiency, cut unnecessary steps, and ensure top-notch outcomes.

- Conduct post-project evaluations to extract lessons learned and refine processes accordingly.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of project processes, ensuring accessibility for relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

- Prior experience as a Project Manager, with a track record of implementations, is valued.

- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve process-related challenges.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Certification in Project Management or Lean/Six Sigma is a plus
