Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Procurement Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive cost savings and improve supplier relationships. The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the procurement process from requisition to payment, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance management.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.

3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers through effective communication and negotiation skills.

4. Conduct market research and analyze spend data to identify... areas for cost reduction and optimization.

5. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to procurement, including contract management, supplier selection criteria, and risk management.

6. Participate in strategic sourcing initiatives to drive significant cost savings for the organization.

7. Provide regular reports on procurement metrics, such as spend analysis, supplier performance, and savings achieved.

8. Support the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures in alignment with the company's overall strategy.

9. Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, legal, and operations, to ensure alignment of procurement activities with overall business objectives.

10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to procurement management.

11. Perform other duties as assigned by the Procurement Manager or Director of Procurement.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field required; MBA preferred.

2. Minimum of

4 years

of experience in procurement or related field required; experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.

3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on insights gained from analysis.

4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

5. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers while balancing risk management considerations.

6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required; knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems preferred.

7. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment while also being able to work independently as needed.

8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results consistently.
