An established manufacturing company is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support the HR initiatives for their facility in Rochester. Responsibilities include partnering with company leadership to develop and implement HR Strategies that promote employee satisfaction and a high-performance culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES...
• Implement and manage HR policy in compliance with state regulation and standards
• Partner with senior leadership and line-management to implement initiatives that support companies’ long term objectives
• Effectively resolve various employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and enforce disciplinary actions.
• Align department with organizational growth and change through staffing, talent development, organization design, performance management and succession planning
• Utilize reporting tools to acquire and analyze metrics to support data driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with the Legal Dept. to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 6 years of experience in human resources in a manufacturing environment
• Thorough knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to Human Resources
• Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Must have strong analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to work with team-members at all levels of an organization
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
