Summary:

As the Enterprise Software Architect, you will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of application architecture frameworks and standards, reporting to the head of software engineering. In this role, you will also play a key role in the execution of technical roadmaps to modernize, improve and support the overall application ecosystem. As a hands-on leader, you will work closely with Engineers and Infrastructure teams to develop and maintain high-level design plans for the overall logical and technical IT architectures. you will guide and orchestrate new and ongoing project implementation work, leading the design reviews as part of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure they adhere to pre-defined architecture principles, reference architecture, and best practice design patterns.

Responsibilities include:
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on architecture/design across all system domains
• Own creation, update, communication, and training of architectural guidelines, best practices, standards, and monitors adherence to ensure application decisions are aligned with future-state architecture vision.
• Chair Architecture Review Board - Governance Process & Documentation of Solution Decision
• Collaborate with Key Technology leaders across Tech Groups to identify problem areas, define future-state, enterprise-centric technology architecture landscapes that consider application, data, business, security, and infrastructure dimensions; which aligns with enterprise business process landscape. Conduct research and proof-of-concepts on relevant emerging technologies including new cloud and virtualization technologies to facilitate migration and integration of on-premise applications with cloud-based solutions.
• Work with Technology and Product leaders to understand business drivers and capabilities (future & current state) to determine relevant architectural designs and changes that support targeted business outcomes.
• Present solutions and framework to cross functional teams, achieving buy-in from all stakeholders
• Collaborate with Data group to ensure software and data architecture are aligned

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in lending platforms and systems
• 10+ years' experience in application architecture and technology leadership including large-scale project implementations, full stack solutions using various development platforms, and operations.
• Good understanding of AWS (or similar platforms) and tools necessary to assess performance, ensure scalability, monitor system and data security;
• Strong knowledge of cloud models (Paas, Saas), underlying architectures, migrating and sustaining workloads is generally important.
• 3+ years’ experience with microservices, containers, and container orchestration using Docker or Kubernetes.
• 5+ years’ working experience in integrating different third-party systems using REST/SOAP
• Experience in creating API design/technical documentation and messaging protocols.
• Sound technical knowledge around concepts like either of Java, or C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Web Technologies and SOAP/REST API technologies
• Experience with Agile and DevOps SDLC methodologies .Demonstrated commitment to continuous personal improvement of business and technical skills, including the ability to learn and apply new technologies and techniques.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
• Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication. The ability to communicate effectively with business leaders and technical experts at all organizational levels is critical.
• Preferred experience in building solutions in no-code platform

The full-time base salary range for this role in the United States is between $170,000 - $190,000 + bonus and / or commissions + equity + benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as market job location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as evaluated throughout the interview process.
