As the Senior Communications Consultant, Corporate Communications, you will independently guide and project manage the development and execution of integrated internal and external communications strategies. You will support C-Suite and other senior leaders in managing their communications and raising their visibility. You will utilize your highly developed communication planning, relationship-building and business skills to drive the delivery of programs that support our strategic initiatives. You will brief and manage external agency resources to support the delivery of programs. You will coach, provide guidance, feedback and support the team to enhance communications to protect and advance business goals, our leaders, and brand awareness.

How You Will Create Impact
• Consulting, planning, and executing integrated strategic communication plans to support program initiatives and provide counsel to senior Executives on strategic initiatives.
• Developing, writing and editing internal and external content, messages, speaking notes, and presentation materials to support executive leadership communications and our strategic initiatives.
• Monitoring and incorporating best practices and trends in communications planning, strategy and measurement to improve processes and procedures.
• Implementing approved crisis management communication processes including advising, monitoring, reporting, and executing communications strategies.
• Communicating with key stakeholders across the organization regarding sensitive, complex, or confidential issues to achieve optimal business outcomes.

How You Will Succeed
• You have experience managing complex content portfolios in support of senior leader communications, including CEO communications and Board reporting.
• You have an innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies and ability to influence change, with a primary focus on client needs.  
• You are a strong and experienced writer, editor and content creator.
• You use critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions, and proactively propose solutions.
• You build trusting relationships and provide guidance to support the development of colleagues.

To Join Our Team
• You have minimum of 7 years of experience in communications, a combination of internal and external.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to reach the hearts and minds of audiences through compelling storytelling.
• A strong project management mindset, with the ability to deliver on deadline both as an individual contributor, and as part of a team.
• The ability to understand complex subject matter and distill it into communications that are simple and easy to understand.
• Proven experience providing communications counsel, planning and material development support to business partners and senior executives.
• A working knowledge of French is an asset but not a requisite.
• You have a post-secondary diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related discipline.
• You have expert knowledge in the evolving digital media landscape and are familiar with top-tier media covering business, finance, technology, and lifestyle.
• Having the Accredited Business Communication (ABC) certification is an asset.

• You will travel occasionally.
