The Opportunity:

We have a unique opportunity to make a significant impact as a Senior Financial Reporting Consultant where you will be a key member in contributing to continued success. You will join a vibrant, results-oriented team with our client, a PE-owned company with a revenue size of $900M and a strong track record of growth. Recently transitioning from a public company to private ownership, they operate under IFRS reporting standards and maintain a strategic focus on acquisition as their primary growth strategy.

What You Will Be Doing:

With an upcoming departure, our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Reporting Consultant to lead their consolidated financial reporting efforts. This role will be instrumental in managing various financial activities, including privatization, incentive plans, potential M&A, IFRS reporting, audit management, and more. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in financial closing processes, journal entry booking, and... technical accounting matters.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead consolidated financial reporting efforts in compliance with IFRS standards
• Manage various financial activities including privatization, incentive plans, potential M&A, and audit management
• Oversee working capital, P&L, hedge accounting, lease accounting, intangible, and fixed asset accounting
• Support the closing of books and booking journal entries as needed
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of audited financial statements, including disclosures in line with IFRS
• Consolidate financial data from multiple entities, including holding companies across various regions
• Assist in reviewing and potentially updating Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) documentation
• Collaborate with the team on system implementations, including BlackLine and OneStream

What We Need From You:
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and consolidated financial reporting
• Experience with foreign operations, FX, and hedging
• Previous experience in M&A
• Previous experience with a Big 4 accounting firm an asset
• Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new technology quickly (Bonus points for familiarity with Workiva for financial reporting)
• Experience with Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) documentation an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
