- Cutting, Rigging and Animating 2D characters and assets with live2d software
- Paint (on Photoshop) over assigned 2D characters as part of the above process
- Assist in the implementation of finished work into Unity scenes
- Ensure stylistic consistency and respond readily to feedback
- Keep an organized and efficient workflow
- Work with other art disciplines to create efficient solutions for building the look and feel of the game
- Tap on experience to assist in miscellaneous development tasks
• *Required Qualifications**
- Ideally 1-3 years of experience in the video games industry
- Ideally possess tertiary educational qualification in game development and design
- Essential software knowledge: Unity (intermediate to advanced), Photoshop (intermediate to advanced), and an industry standard live2d software like Spine or equivalent (advanced)
- Optional software knowledge: Blender, for general asset and scene creation
- Good understanding of digital painting... and drawing
- Good understanding of human anatomy
- Understanding of game production workflows and pipeline
- Understanding of mobile compression settings and techniques
- Analyze project requirements and work with art team to produce quality assets
- Understanding of art fundamentals like gameplay clarity, timing, shape language, color theory
- Understanding of shaders, optimisations and workflows for mobile games
- Be proactive in pushing the quality of one’s own work, in line with direction
- Able to work both collaboratively and independently
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
