Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our oil and gas operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our production, drilling, and exploration activities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, with at least 20-25 years of experience in oil and gas operations. An advanced degree is preferred, and a professional engineering license may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of our oil and gas operations, including production, drilling, and exploration activities.
• Develop and implement operational plans and strategies to achieve production targets.
• Manage production schedules and ensure the timely delivery of oil and gas products.
• Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, industry groups, and stakeholders.
• Ensure... compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with all HSE policies and procedures.
• Manage and monitor operational budgets, expenses, and resources.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including drilling engineers, geologists, reservoir engineers, and production engineers, to ensure operational excellence.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
• Prepare and present operational reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage and develop a team of operations professionals.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• At least 20-25 years of experience in oil and gas operations.
• Advanced degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Professional engineering license may be required.
• Strong knowledge of oil and gas operations, including production, drilling, and exploration activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications, including production management software.
• Experience with project management and budgeting.
• Familiarity with HSE regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
• Knowledge of emergency response planning and procedures.
