Lead recruitment, training, and development efforts, fostering a knowledgeable and skilled team. Financial management responsibilities include budgeting, inventory tracking, and generating productivity reports. Acting as an Ambassador for the spa and resort brand, and builds relationships with stakeholders, representing brand values. Directs and leads the day-to-day Spa operation, ensuring all standards are followed to maintain peak conditioning of the facility at all times through cleanliness and hygiene, while ensuring guest/member satisfaction by assuring safety and service is always the spa s first priority.• Sales and Marketing : Promotes and sells customized Spa offers and programs to conference groups and individuals to maximize the number of Spa visitors and members, while maintaining thorough knowledge of competitors, including location, product offerings, pricing, promotions, and sales techniques, and establishing proactive strategic initiatives for the spa to help market overall offers/products.• Team Development : Assists in the recruitment, development, and training of all leaders and support staff, ensuring team members are familiar with all areas of the Spa Treatment operation, including product knowledge and retail sales, while following departmental policies and procedures, as well as all safety and sanitation policies.• Financial Management and Compliance : Assists in the development and implementation of financial budgeting and analysis for the departments within the facility, providing monthly budgets and forecasts when requested, while being responsible for staying within the allocated budget while maximizing profitability, and establishing reliable systems to track all internal inventories for the department and report any variances.• Safety and Emergency Management : Follows and ensures that all colleagues follow all safety procedures and practices of the property, leading by example, while assisting in the development and compliance of all departmental emergency procedures, ensuring all potential and actual hazards are reported and rectified immediately, assuring safety of the persons and property of all within the premises by fairly applying resort regulations and strictly following existing laws, and handling emergency situations with urgency and discretion.Qualifications• Experience and Education : The ideal candidate should have previous leadership experience within the Spa Treatment field, a University/College degree in a related discipline, and experience in the Hotel industry is considered an asset. Additionally, experience and certification in one of the Spa disciplines of fitness or therapy are preferred, with previous experience also being viewed as an asset.• Technical Skills : The ideal candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Windows applications, essential for managing administrative tasks, scheduling appointments, and maintaining client records. Staying current with spa management software and treatment procedures, along with operating specialized equipment, is vital for efficient operations and top-notch service. Keeping abreast of market trends ensures the spa remains competitive and enhances the overall customer experience.• Soft Skills : The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, being highly responsible, reliable, and capable of focusing
