• *About theteam**:
The Compliance team (including you) is responsible fordesigning, implementing, maintaining awareness, monitoring, andpromoting Compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policiesthroughout Merama and its portfolio companies. The Regulatory Affairsdepartment works on interpreting regulations and providing advicebased on a scientifically derived risk-basedassessment.

Partnering with Product Development, Supply Chain,and International Expansion teams on pre-market assessments,connecting with International Logistics teams on packaging andlabeling, and working with Sales and Marketing teams on marketplacerequirements and marketing claims, the RA team must use analyticalskills and influence to advise on legal requirements and to shape theregulatory environment.

• *About the role**:
Yourmission is to ensure regulatory compliance with the current portfolioof Merama group companies' products as well as the regulatoryvalidation of certifications, permits, packaging, labeling, and otherapplicable requirements to ensure the implementation of currentlegislation and for both local regulatory changes and customsrequirements for the countries from which products are beingimported.
• *Main responsibilities**:

- Developingregulatory, certification, risk management and product complianceexpertise related to our various product categories for Chilean andemerging markets including consumer electronics, têxtile, superfoodsand supplements, baby products, home utilities and appliances,wellness and sports equipment.
- Submitting of the requirements forProduct compliance for Chilean and its emerging markets by reviewingImportations requirements, packaging information and materials,Commercialization requirements and Marketing claims.
- Developing,leading and executing regulatory compliance strategies to enable thebusiness to commercialize new products and to maintain existingbusiness.
- Collaborating with cross-functional, global teams tolead, execute and document product regulatory compliance for existingproducts and new products.
- Identifying, assessing, andcommunicating product and process risks through leading and executingrisk assessments and audits, including risks on the custom process aswell as trade agreements opportunities.
- Providing regulatory andproduct guidance and direction in daily business processes such ascustomer inquiries, hazard communication, product labeling andliterature content, claims substantiation, product design control forexisting Merchants and future acquisitions.
• *We are lookingfor someone who has**:

- Bachelor's degree or higher (completedand verified).
- At least three (3) years of combined experience inproduct and customs regulatory compliance in Chile.
- Experience inrisk assessment and performing internal audits.
- Knowledge of theChilean General Law on Imports and Exports: Law 18525
- Knowledgeof security standards, labeling and sanitary regulations for thecommercialization of products according with the rules and regulationsof Ministry of Economy, Promotion and Tourism and its decrees,Ministry of Health - Public Health Institute of Chile.

- Skills:Strong communication, project management and leadership skills workingwith global and cross-functional teams, having organizational andadministrative competenc
