We are seeking an experienced Registered Midwife for the position of Senior Lecturer in Midwifery Education. This is a unique opportunity to join our dynamic team and contribute to the education and training of future midwives.
We offer both traditional degree and apprenticeship degree routes leading to a midwifery qualification, and our postgraduate provision includes the newborn and infant physical examination (NIPE) and Professional Midwifery Advocate programmes.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of aspiring midwives. We are seeking an individual with demonstrable experience of working in the Higher Education sector, with knowledge of a broad range of contemporary midwifery practice and research.
You must be a Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and have relevant post-registration experience as a midwife.
This role is based in Lancaster and will require flexibility to travel to our Carlisle Fusehill Street campus.
