Occupational Health & Safety (Human Resources & Recruitment) With over 7,000 colleagues globally, the WITRON group are a strong partner for highly automated logistic systems.

We are entering an exciting phase of growth in our Australian operations as we partner with Coles supermarkets to deliver their automated distribution centres.

Reporting to the Site Manager, this role will play a key role in the development of our team, supporting operations with all aspects of safety and wellbeing on site.

Your role in our team : Championing all aspects of safety within a fast paced, automated logistics environment, providing expert advice across the business.

A track record of going beyond compliance to implements systems, processes and initiatives that drive a culture of safety, and make a difference to the health and wellbeing of all stakeholders.

Collaborating with WITRON globally to assess risks, implement controls and develop best practice safety methodologies. Lead investigations of... workplace incidents, near misses and maintenance of associated registers.

Facilitate all aspects of incident / injury management and return to work. Building HSE capability across our team through establishment, optimization and development of Safety and Capability processes and methods.

Implement capability frameworks that support the upskilling and development of our WITRON team. Develop reporting templates for within WITRON and to our customer on key KPI's and relevant information.

Identify and drive safety and wellbeing initiatives according to industry best practice. Demonstrated prior experience in leading workplace health and safety (preferably with manufacturing / FMCG environments).

Has a practical mindset around implementing safety and building the capability at every level of our team. Prior experience delivering WHS training to teams.

Certificate IV in TAE Previous experience in skill and training matrixes - including the development and practical implementation.

Experienced in investigations, implementation of improvement initiatives and corrective actions, with experience in ICAM investigations desirable.

Previous experience in injury management / Return to Work processes and liaising with icare NSW. Ability to interpret legislation, regulations and guidelines and make practical recommendations.

Has the flexibility to work hours that may involve differing time zones / shift work / weekends to support the operational needs.

Excellent time management, attention to detail and organisational skills. Independent and structured way of working, confidence to build strong working relationships across the globe.
