The Antigua and Barbuda Department of Marine Services and Merchant Shipping (ADOMS) is the Maritime Administration of Antigua and Barbuda responsible for the Ship Registry. It offers quality support to customers across the globe and operates within the regulatory framework of the International Maritime Shipping Industry. The principal/head office is located in St. John's, Antigua, supported by two satellite offices in Germany – ADOMS Oldenburg and ADOMS Inspection and Investigation Division (ADOMS IID), Elsfleth.
Role Description
We are looking to recruit a marine surveyor with extensive flag administration experience, handling day to day technical matters on ships, have knowledge of ship registration, contribute to the growth of registry and be a part of team focused on delivery of top notch service to our customers. Qualifications
• Experience in... inspection and marine survey in the maritime industry
• Strong knowledge in vessel operations and naval architecture
• Ability to manage maritime administration activities
• Familiarity with international maritime regulations and practices
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Master Mariner or Chief Engineer with flag state or Class society experience
• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field and Class society experience.
