Opportunity Overview:
We're on the lookout for a seasoned Facilities Management professional to spearhead our Hard Services team in Longford. This vital role involves leading the Facilities Management team to surpass safety, quality, service, and cost objectives, through effective supervision and coordination. Key Responsibilities:
• Maintenance Excellence: Execute planned preventative maintenance via Plant CMMS/CAFM systems.
• Operational Efficiency: Rapidly identify and rectify maintenance issues to maximise equipment uptime.
• Service Delivery: Address both technical and non-technical queries, adhering to SLAs.
• Repair Coordination: Oversee fault finding, repairs, and coordination with external service engineers.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on hard services spending and hours utilisation monthly.
• Continuous Improvement: Advocate for PM service improvements and follow-up on recommended works.
• Compliance and Safety: Manage EHS site permits and RAMS for all works, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
• Team Development: Offer training, support, and mentoring to on-site technicians, promoting a culture of excellence.
• Cost Management: Contribute to cost reduction and identify energy-saving opportunities, maintaining 'Best Practice' standards.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Scope Expansion: Seek additional projects and provide comprehensive technical reports to clients.
• Emergency Support: Offer emergency response coverage for all Ireland, ensuring effective technical service delivery.
• Strategic Planning: Assist in Asset Management planning and support the client's change control process, advocating for maintenance and operational consistency across accounts.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Experience: 5+ years in a similar role, with strong experience in supervisory roles and FM commercial systems management.
• Qualifications: Certificate/Diploma or Senior Trades in Electrical/Mechanical/Automation.
• Skills: Proficient in HVAC systems, BMS systems fault-finding, and diagnostic skills; experienced with CMMS systems and reporting tools.
• Attributes: Highly organised, excellent communicator, customer-focused management style, self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities, and capable of making informed decisions.
