Assistant Librarian II (23240398)
The University Library (http://library.hkbu.edu.hk) now seeks an Assistant Librarian II to serve in its User and Information Services Cluster at the Au Shue Hung Memorial Library (Main Library). Reporting to the Head of User and Information Services, key responsibilities of the appointee will be to provide information literacy instruction and research consultations and to serve as the Liaison Librarian of an assigned Faculty/School.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure excellent communication and outreach to relevant faculty members and administrators;
• Assist the Head of User and Information Services in developing and enhancing information literacy programmes and activities;
• Provide high quality instructional, research, and reference services both in person and online;
• Assist in supervising supporting staff of the User and Information Services Cluster; and
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed.
