We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, proactive and driven individual to work as a Warehouse Supervisor. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager the position is responsible for ensuring the day to day running of the warehouse department (goods in, goods out and finished goods) which includes the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods and products in line with customer and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities include:
• Effective planning and management of the daily and weekly workload.
• Responsible for outbound deliveries to customers, as well as inbound deliveries to Finished Goods Warehouse.
• Ensure that deadlines are kept to and work is being done efficiently to meet OTIF targets
• Continually ensure that warehouse space and planned delivery schedules are compatible.
• Be involved with the Company’s regular stock take days, as well as undertake PI stock counts on a daily basis.

Person Specification

Successful candidates should be educated to a high standard with previous experience of working within a supervisory position. Previous skills and knowledge of working within a fast paced and ever-changing warehouse environment. Other key attributes include:
• License to drive Reach, Counterbalance and Ride on PPT trucks
• Knowledge and understanding of health, safety and food hygiene procedures
• Customer focused and self-motivated individual
• Knowledge and experience of machinery and warehouse systems
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills
• Ability to prioritise effectively and work to tight deadlines

Hours of work

This is a position working 45 hours per week on a rotating pattern, Monday to Friday 0530 - 1430 / 1330 -2230 with an hour paid break.
