JR48637 ENGINEER, SSD VALIDATION
As a Validation Engineer at Micron, you will be part of a forward-thinking team of engineers that participate in the development of state of the art storage solution. You will solve complex problems, be responsible for enabling Micron’s products with flawless and issue free release to customers.
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute validation test plan (black box testing) on SSD devices on laptop and desktop systems
• In-charge of compatibility/system... integration testing
• Perform failure analysis and collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve SSD issues
• Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality, recommend and implement test coverage improvement actions
• Analyze and create test standards and procedures
• Improve customer integration experience
• Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
• Working experience in either SSD or HDD industry would be an advantage
• Experience with SATA and/or NVMe storage interface protocols and Windows/Linux Operating Systems
• Programming knowledge in Python and C++
• Experience working with PC/Notebooks (PC Setup, PC troubleshooting)
• Experience in using SATA/PCIe bus analyzers, bus trace analysis would be beneficial
