Job Summary
Manage the relationships with the 3rd Party Logistics Providers (3PL) to ensure that ResMed has an efficient logistics operation that meets the required service levels. Ensuring that goods are received in a timely manner and that replenishment into the Manufacturing facility is executed as per requirements. Also ensure that Finished Goods are dispatched to the relevant Regions via sea and air.
Let’s Talk About Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the Warehouse Team (outbound dispatch) responsible for onsite container loading, ensure the team adhere to ResMed’s process and safety policy.
• Coordinate with 3PL on the flow of inbound material across the various warehouses ensuring goods are put away in a timely manner.
• Ensure timely coordination with 3PL provider on logistics matters – communication with freight forwarders and 3PL on logistics activities and requirements.
• Manage and coordinate with 3PL to ensure the right resources and equipment are in place to support... the requirements of the Manufacturing facility.
• Ensure 3PL resources undergo and are up to date with all required training such as GMP, SIC or any training required under ResMed Policy as per training group.
• Ensure a regular maintenance schedule for Power mobile plant equipment is established and coordinate on any unplanned repair due to breakdown with supplier.
• Ensure the implementation of health and safety management system within the areas of responsibility and to monitor the health and safety performance of direct reports.
• Take on continuous improvement initiatives to uplift operational efficiency.
Let’s Talk About Qualifications And Experience
• Diploma in Warehouse/Logistics Management or related qualifications in a relevant discipline
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Warehouse/Logistics role and 3 years of outbound dispatch experience, such as forklift driving, loading container with forklift with push-pull attachment, container sealed etc.
Preferred:
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in people management role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong problem-solving skills
