Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial transactions and maintain accurate records for the supermarket
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and identifying any discrepancies
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and monitor budget plans
- Assist with financial forecasting, cost analysis, and decision-making processes
- Provide financial reports and analysis to support strategic business decisions
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional certification is a plus
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting or related... field
- Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a retail or supermarket setting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
