Our client is a leading processing company based in Buckingham, recognised for their quality products and commitment to customer satisfaction. They are currently seeking a dedicated Trainee Machine Operator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly atmosphere, train to become a skilled Machine Operator, and contribute to the success of our client's operations.

As a Machine Operator, Your Responsibilities Will Include
• Operating and maintaining various processing machinery, ensuring efficient and accurate production.
• Setting up machines according to product specifications, including adjusting cutting blades, feed rates, and other parameters.
• Monitoring machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations from standards and taking corrective actions as necessary.
• Conducting regular inspections of machines to ensure proper functioning, cleanliness, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning... lubricating, and replacing worn-out parts to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Collaborating with other team members to coordinate production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
• Inspecting finished products for quality, including dimensions, smoothness, and accuracy, and making adjustments as needed.
• Adhering to all safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Reporting any issues, concerns, or improvements related to machinery, processes, or safety to the supervisor.

Requirements
• Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in production would be beneficial.
• Attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work within specified tolerances.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and maneuver materials.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and knowledge of relevant safety procedures.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Punctuality and reliability to meet production deadlines.

• Competitive starting hourly rate of £11.50 per hour, going up to £13 per hour after 12 weeks, with well-paid overtime.
