Te Tūranga | About the role

As an Advisor: Contact Centre, you are the first point of contact for enquiries received through Council's Contact Centre. You will be providing exceptional customer service to the community, whether it's a kōrero over the phone, responding to emails, or even answering social media enquiries.

We Have 3 Part Time Roles Available As Follows
• 18 hours per week - Monday and Tuesday 5.45pm-11.15pm and Sunday 2.45pm-11.15pm
• 22 hours per week - Friday 10.00am - 5.00pm, Saturday and Sunday 8.00am-4.30pm
• 20 hours per week - Monday and Tuesday 45pm - 11.15pm and Sunday 2.45pm - 11.15pm

There is an initial training period prior to commencing regular hours for this role, training will be approx. 6 weeks... Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm.

Please note attendance to a weekly 1 hour meeting on a Wednesday at 8.00am or 4.00pm is required for this role.

Ngā Pukenga | What you'll need to succeed

To Succeed In This Role, You'll Bring
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Problem solving ability
• Minimum of 3 years work experience, preferably in a customer service environment.
• NCEA Level 3 or University Entrance equivalent.
