Job Title: Financial Analyst

Location: UAE, Qatar, Dubai

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

Our company is seeking a highly experienced Financial Analyst to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The Financial Analyst will play a key role in providing financial analysis and strategic support to senior management and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in finance or related field, with at least 10-15 years of experience in financial analysis in the oil and gas industry. An advanced degree in finance or related field is preferred, and a professional certification in finance or accounting may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct complex financial analysis to support decision-making and business planning, including scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and risk assessment.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow, taking into account the impact of various factors... including commodity prices, currency exchange rates, and production volumes.
• Analyze and report on a wide range of financial metrics, including profitability, return on investment, working capital, and capital expenditures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production engineers, geologists, and drilling engineers, to ensure alignment of financial analysis with overall business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial performance, reduce costs, and increase profitability, and provide recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and present complex financial reports and presentations to senior management, board of directors, and other stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations affecting the oil and gas industry, and provide insights and analysis on their potential impact on the company.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, investors, and rating agencies.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field, with a strong academic record.
• At least 10-15 years of experience in financial analysis in the oil and gas industry, with a track record of success.
• Advanced degree in finance or related field preferred, such as a Master's degree in Finance or an MBA with a finance concentration.
• Professional certification in finance or accounting, such as a CFA, CPA, or CA, may be required.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis principles and techniques, with experience in complex modeling and scenario analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Proven track record of analyzing complex financial data and presenting actionable insights to senior management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Familiarity with the oil and gas industry and related financial metrics, including production volumes, reserves, and exploration and development costs.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with the ability to collaborate and build strong relationships across functional and organizational boundaries.
• Proficiency in financial analysis software and tools, such as Excel, Bloomberg, and SAP.
