We are recruiting for a Children's Continence Product Nurse.

The Children's Continence Product Service is based at the Whitstable & Tankerton Hospital alongside the East Kent Children's Bladder and Bowel Service.

The Team provides high quality continence product assessment and reviews for children and young people throughout West Kent, East Kent and Dartford, Gravesend and Swanley.
Providing skilled, evidence based care which adheres to agreed policies and procedures
• Working with patients and families to negotiate and agree a personalised care plan including assessing risks and needs
• Responding to complaints or concerns effectively and quickly in line with the services' policy

Registered Healthcare Professional with relevant Professional body (1st Level Nurse/ NMC or Physiotherapist; Degree in a health relevant subject or willingness to complete a degree (within 3 years of appointment)
Experience of working in community/acute healthcare setting
Experience working with Microsoft office, excel and electronic records
Minimum 2 yrs community experience
Awareness of professional issues and recent developments in the NHS
Knowledge of complex health needs, toilet training and bladder and bowel issues
Up to date driving licence and vehicle required for the post
To work independently and remotely
Flexible and adaptable
