As the Manager Nutrition & Formulation (ANH), you will manage a team of 6 who are engaged in formulation of feeds and premixes and provides customer-oriented advice on animal groep specific nutrition. You will conduct formulation activities and support to the business and customers to ensure the daily production of premixes.

Your Key Responsibilities
Formulation
• Team Coordination: You act as the manager for the Formulation team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication in the team and between the different departmens. Participate in projects and serve as a Key User for the formulation software, BestMix;
• Customer Support: You provide support and expertise in premix formulation to sales colleagues and customers and make recommendations on premix and feed composition based on internal research and product specifications;
• Formula Translation: You translate production and quality demands into formulation, ensuring alignment with business goals and work closely with production operators to align production capabilities with formulation goals;
• Raw Material Evaluation: You evaluate and review raw materials, optimizing usage and advising on the purchase of new raw materials and collaborate with the Purchasing department to assist with short-term raw material planning;
• Information Systems Management: You manage formulation-related information systems, including BestMix software and related databases and utilize modeling knowledge and tools for calculations.
Nutritionist
• Sector Knowledge: You possess a working knowledge of relevant animal sectors to provide informed technical support and support the sales and marketing team by preparing quotations, facilitating knowledge transfer, and designing products and create new presentations and information letters to enhance customer relations;
• Training & Education: You organize and deliver training sessions for the sales force and customers, especially during the launch of new products or applications;
• Advisory: You develop and manage advisory standards for feed millers and premixes across various livestock categories and propose, develop, and follow up on local field tests and animal trials with ANH products, based on customer queries.

• Based on your experience we will offer you a base salary of € 76,594 to 109,420 per year (including holiday allowance and 13th month) and extra benefits, such as 25 holiday days, a bonus, the option to buy more holiday days with a 6% my choice budget and much more.
You bring
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Animal Science, Nutrition or related discipline;
• Proven experience in premix formulation and nutrition within the animal health industry;
• Proven experience with formulation software BestMix;
• As a diplomatic and animated speaker, you can provide technical-nutritional advice and training during technical sales meetings with customers;
• You are also results-oriented, decisive and a real team player. As a strong networker, you also develop and use internal relationships within dsm-firmenich;
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, in Dutch and English are required. Proficiency in German would be considered an asset.
