Illuno is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the U.S. The Outside Sales Representative will sell a Law Enforcement Software for the off-duty overtime markets within active police organizations, unions, and cities. The position MUST be a well connected retired or active duty Police Officer that wants to support and help Police improve their internal off-duty staffing systems or create a new system.

We soon realized that police departments across America lacked basic systems within their off-duty events program. Illuno is a private, for profit, pro-police company that gives back... to the Law Enforcement Community at all levels, as well as has a world-class software for off-duty management. We are not a typical tech company selling products that police departments don't need. We offer a full service off-duty platform for departments to coordinate and streamline their existing off-duty programs.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in sales or a related field, strong multitasking ability, and excellent follow-up and communication skills. He/she must be a high level communicator with success in negotiation.
We are asking the Sales Representative to start in their best known area and then move out from there. If your performance produces contracts then we will offer you first-right-or-refusal to sell in a larger region of the U.S. This position is telecommuter, remote, or work from home. You do not need to work with our office staff. You will report directly to the owners.
We do not need the Representative to know anything about technology or the inner details of our software. We have a team to discuss those topics with the client. We also don't need them to close the sale, rather just get our owners a meeting with the departments so they can seal the deal. Of course you will be involved with that process so you can be an advocate to that department for ever.
Responsibilities: Client support and networking Acquire and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales leads. Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their needs. Align value propositions with customer pain points to sell products. Meet with police Chiefs, unions, or any decision makers within police departments on a regular basis. Reporting Maintain daily reports of sales activities, including calls, orders, sales, lost business and any other issues. Provide periodic territory sales forecasts as requested. Knowledge -- Have basic knowledge in off-duty, events, overtime, and secondary employment that police officers commonly work.
Requirements: 15+ years aggregate active duty Law Enforcement Separated from service in good standing Five years of leadership within their department Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Proven organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to sell a product to stakeholders and decision makers
Offer/Compensation: $1000.00 cash, per department that signs up Department size under 250 sworn officers $2500.00 cash, per department that signs up Department size, under 500 sworn officers $5000.00 cash, per department that signs up Department size, over 500 sworn officers $10,000.00 for Departments over 1000 sworn officers Commission based/Performance based Transition to full time salary based off of performance Paid after first job worked on software Paid as a private contractor, 1099 relationship
