You Will Be Responsible For:

Under the general direction of the Business Development Manager ⓠLiaison, the Business Development Industry Coordinator, âœBD Coordinatorâ , supports efforts to meet and exceed revenue targets through contract and grant services. The position supports the BD team... and industry stakeholders in collaboration with multiple clinical team leaders and senior administrators, and without direct supervisory responsibility over team members. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:
Required:
• Bachelorâ™s degree from an accredited university in a related field (business, healthcare, science or related), or Associateâ™s degree and 5+ years♠experience in a BD/sales coordination role
• Ability to effectively respond to time-sensitive issues and meet deadlines
• Ability to organize the work for self and others
• Awareness of performance improvement techniques
• Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills
• General knowledge of inside selling, client relationship management, market research and methodology
• Good communication skills for interaction with team members and stakeholders
• Initiative and ability to work independently (self-direction), while thriving in a setting requiring collaboration and teamwork for maximal efficiency and effectiveness
• Familiar with business desktop applications, including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Visio), Skype for Business (or other chat solutions), Zoom
• Organized, detail oriented
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor message to individuals and audiences throughout the institution

Preferred:
• Bachelorâ™s degree
• Prior sales experience
• Prior experience in clinical research organization (CRO) or investigational research
• Prior experience in healthcare
• Prior experience with client relationship management (CRM), e.g. Salesforce
• Prior experience with project management, e.g. PMP, agile, Smartsheets

Job Summary:
• Under the direction of the BD Manager for Liaison, organize a system for maintaining consistency in all aspects of business development and sales
• Implement the AHRI BD handbook for managing sales including activity progression through lead development and closing
• Provides training, guidance and issue resolution on areas connected to the BD handbook within the BD teams, and in support of training external to BD
• Prepare material for campaigns and manage details, timelines and deliverables to the BD teams to keep them on track
• Plan on maintain BD sales activity/status calendar
• Organize internal and external team meetings, calendars, conference rooms, Zoom/Skype and other planning activities
• Assist in execution of trade show / events plan: identifying, assembling, and coordination requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating (e)mailing lists
• Enter and monitor expenses for the BD teams into AHRI travel systems
• Oversee travel schedules and arrangements for the BD teams
• Manages and resolves issues with BD tracking and reporting, and escalates as appropriate
• Provide support to marketing for various projects connected directly to partnering
• Attention to detail that ensures follow through on all initiatives implemented, and all projects undertaken
