Departmental Unit: Government PayrollReports to: Regional Sales Manager Supervises: All Sales AgentsCoordinates/Liaises with: Vote Signatories, Customers, Community and key authorities in the area of operation, Branch Sales team, Regional Manager , Country Sales Manager and head office staffPrimary Responsibilities: To create and nurture a vibrant and productive sales team and coordinate all the sales & marketing activities in the team.The Team Leader is responsible for the overall success of the branch sales team. The position exists to provide leadership to the Sales Agents to provide properly appraised and quality loans to Civil servants in active employment. Manage the smooth day-to-day implementation of the branch team, effectively and efficiently achieving marketing and sales goals set out for the branch in Premier Budgets & targets framework and in the business plan. Supervise effectively all the Team Sales agents and ensure quality field operations related to the selection of... clients, disbursement of loans, on time coding of loans and zero drop offs. Ensure as the organization’s policy on zero tolerance to fraud is maintained at all times.Performance Standards:A relationship builder. Able to start and maintain new relationships.Responsive and sensitive to customer needs, both internal and external.Involved in the business and ensures policies and procedures are known to everyoneEnsure all loan delivery documentations are properly approved.An effective supervisor – A motivated self-starter who can operate well with minimal supervision, motivate and supervise his team to deliver desired results.Ability to detect and solve institutional risks especially operational risks – Fraud and non repayment.Be corrupt free, good conduct and with positive attitude towards work and all stakeholders. ? Attend and dutifully present reports management meetingsCommitted to sound customer service.Good judgment and decision-making ability – as well as a TEAM PLAYER.Excellent communication and presentation skillsGood knowledge of the target communityA person of good moral standing in the office and outsideDetail-oriented, organized and good time managerGood reference to all staff by adhering to the Staff Code of Conduct.It is the responsibility of every PREMIER CREDIT Limited employee to assist fellow employees in any way possible to ensure they become effective staff and serve with dignity. It is your job to ensure that we provide the best services possible to our customers and be a market leader.Specific Duties: Ensuring proper and timely recruitment of Sales Agents to the target of 15 at all times.Ensuring thorough training of sales reps both induction for new sales agents and refresher training for new sales agents on product knowledge and art of selling once every week. Ensuring Sales reps retention - team attrition /Turn over rate should be less than 2% annually. 4. Ensure that there is growth in the number of actual sales reps and active sales reps with monthly target of 12 active sales reps. Motivating, mentoring and ensuring high energy levels of the team members.Ensure that all Sales agents are very conversant with Premier Credit 40 commandments /Frequently asked questions. Sales and recruitment target achievement. Each sales Rep should achieve 200 prospects per month and disburse a minimum of UGX 6,000,000 per month to at least 10 clients.Ensure that you achieve the expected Outstanding loan book before confirmation inline with the set standards. Ensure daily prospects from the sales agents are collected daily for marketing follow ups.Ensure all referrals received from call center team are handled timely to ensure that the institution maintains its promise of quick turn around time. Ensuring 100% implementation of cycle plan and Sourcing for new business as a team.Ensuring market penetration by selling to clients in all the votes allocated under your branch while ensuring progressive growth of new customers and retention of existing ones. Ensure 97% collection rates in conjunction with report from Sales Reps Portfolio Performance from the Sales Analyst by ensuring timely coding of loans and zero drop offs. Timely submission of reports that is sales, marketing and training reports to the Regional manager. 15. People management regarding HR issues in the team and escalating disciplinary issues to the Regional manager. Assessing Reps Presentations either through role play or actual performance in the field.Ensuring average sales reps score in random written /spoken test that is average performance should be at least 80%.Creating clients in the field and capturing clients’ biometrics in Mambu. Review of files from the sales reps before Data entry and ensuring all requirements comply with policy. Coordination of marketing activities for the team and ensuring the branch tent is in the field 75% of the time during the month. Monitor daily repayments and maintain a high loan repayment quality and low PAR within the institution’s acceptable rate. Ensure all institutional policies and procedures and especially lending policies are adhered by all sales team. Develops brief and timely reports on overall progress of the branch on a monthly basis.Maintains a positive relationship with Sales staff, Vote signatories, and local authorities and keeps in monitoring any changes within competition in the area
