Quality Assurance Tester ?stanbul
Job Overview:
QA tester is primarily responsible for checking new software products, gaming systems or mobile applications, for defects or issues. QA tester runs various tests on software to ensure it meets all standards and guidelines and is ready to be marketed to consumers. QA Tester identifies issues and runs debugging programs as needed. QA tester also generates reports, works with software developers to correct issues, and upgrades databases as required.
Responsibilities and Duties:
As a QA Tester at AdColony, you will be using and growing your test skills by owning features end to end, developing accurate test metrics to determine coverage and test effectiveness, researching and implementing new test approaches, and actively sharing knowledge across the team. You will also be working closely with Engineering & Core teams to understand features, implementation details, and usage models and using that data to develop a comprehensive test strategy. You will have a role in... defining the ship quality of your features and will have ownership of the final ship it call.
Qualifications:
? 2+ years experience testing on Android and/or iOS platforms,
? 2+ years experience using a bug management system (i.e. JIRA),
? Strong and creative testing aptitude. Ability to identify test cases beyond obvious functionality,
? Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
? Strong understanding of browser development and testing tools (Chrome, DevTools, Firebug, Fiddler).
? Working knowledge of testing techniques used
Preferred Experience:
? Familiarity with Scrum/Agile SDLC,
? Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript in a testing capacity Should be able to read code line by line and have an idea of what is happening,
? Basic understanding of the DOM API Should be able to find elements on a page using JavaScript (document.getElementById, document.querySelector)
? Working knowledge of XML and JSON,
? Understanding of SQL commands,
? Experience in using Test Tools (Soap UI, Postman etc.)
? Experience in building high quality test plans.
? Basic understanding of CSS selectors (#id, .class)
? Strong instinct about customer experience and passionate for improving customer experience,
? Strong problem-solving skills.
? Excellent time management skills.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
