QUALIFICATION
(a)Have15yearsexperienceofwhichtwelve(12)yearsmustbeofpracticalengineeringdesignexperience(designer/draftinglevelisnotincluded)appropriatetothedisciplineinthe offshore andonshoreoil andgas industry
(b)At leastthree(3)yearsshall have been spent intheoverall coordinationandsupervisionofan engineering design team
(c)HavearecognisedBachlorsorpreferablyMastersdegreeorequivalentqualificationinhis/herdiscipline.Inaddition,he/sheshallbeamemberofarecognisedinstitutionandaregisteredProfessionalEngineer/CharteredEngineere.g.MIE(Aust),IPENZ,MIMechE,MICE, IEM,etc.
(d)Shall beconversant andhaveworkingknowledgewiththerelevant internationalstandardsandcodeofpractices.Itisstronglypreferredthattheincumbentbefamiliarandhasworkedwith Shell InternationalDesign Engineering Procedures (DEPs).
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(a)RepresentCONTRACTORinCo-ordinationwithCOMPANYDisciplineHeads/ProjectTeamformonitoringof COMPANY Standards... andquality.
(b)Reviewanydesignworkcarriedoutbythirdparties(vendors),andtoparticipatein,someinstanceslead HAZOP, HAZID,IPF,reliabilitystudies, Safety andFacilitiesTechnical audits.
(c)Establishtheactual(asopposedtodesign)capacities/capabilitiesofexistingfieldfacilitiesinorderto identifypotential bottlenecks and scopefor optimisation.
(d)Identify potentialapplications for newtechnology.
(e)Actively develop local stafftofulfilengineers andmanaging role.
(f)Environmental aspects(ISO14001)ofoilandgasdesign.
(g)Safetyaspectsofdesigninrelationtotheprojectcyclee.g.HAZID,HAZOP,HAZAN,IPFclassificationmethodologyandimplementation,reliabilitystudies,Fire&Gasmappingandrisk analysistechniques.
(h)QualityAssuranceand Control requirementsofthe design process.
(i)Life cyclecostanalysis.
(j)Prepareengineering,constructionandmaterialestimation,schedule,resourceplanningand update resourcecapacity planning half yearly
