The Government Support Program (GSP) is a United States Agency for International Development (USAID) cooperative agreement led by The QED Group (QED) designed to strengthen accountability, effectiveness, and transparency of governance in Turkmenistan. The GSP in partnership with the government of Turkmenistan aims to strengthen accountability, effectiveness and transparency of governance in Turkmenistan. One of the activities of the... GSP is focused on three main areas of governance: Strengthening public administration of government of Turkmenistan institutions Strengthening policy development and lawmaking processes Creation of enabling environment for CSOs and strengthening democratic governance
Responsibilities Under the supervision of Finance/Operations Manager, the Driver will be responsible to: Provide driving services to support programmatic needs and program staff Collect mails, documents, and other items as needed Ensure proper day-to-day maintenance of the vehicle Ensure availability of all required documents for the vehicle Support administrative staff with office maintenance and assets management when requested Meet and greet visitors at the airport and drive visitors to the airport when requested Provide assistance to administrative staff with arranging travel and hotel reservations, processing requests for visas, and other related tasks Provide driving support with GSP-organized conferences, trainings, and other project activities Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Turkmenistan citizen living in the country Secondary Education Drivers License of B category Must own safe and operable vehicle At least 5 years of professional driving experience is a requirement Excellent knowledge of driving rules and regulations Fluency in Turkmen and Russian Languages. Basic knowledge of English is preferred Excellent knowledge of the capital city and roads Excellent communications skills and good team member
