Your Role
The Business Product Specialist participates in the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle for new or existing products. The role encompasses a broad set of activities required to get the product (or set of products) to market and to support it thereafter. The Business Product Specialist participates in business case development and business analysis to identify how value is created, specific price points and analysis of market sizing / potential. The Business Product Specialist assists in gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements to define the product vision. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. Partakes in product strategy formulation to generate competitive advantage for clients and drive value creation. Conducts regular product reviews to resolve any obstacles and issues that may arise during a products lifecycle. Provides ongoing analysis of the product in the marketplace, articulates the needs of the market, reports competitor activity and plans development of future releases. Works to ensure the product supports the companys overall strategy and meets legal and regulatory compliance. In the absence of a dedicated product marketing specialist, the Business Product Specialist assumes the marketing responsibilities.
Your Key Responsibilities
You will work closely with KSA Equities Trading Desk, Investment Solutions COO Europe and KSA WM COO and KSA stakeholders to deliver:
Product & Platform Management
Support product head in owning, developing and managing the product offering and platform with various AGILE tribes/ squads
Oversee and support KSA New Product Approvals and Systematic Product Reviews
Lead and execute business priorities and projects
Provide trade support for Equities
Risk & Control
Ensure awareness of and strict adherence to KSA local regulatory framework and applicable bank policies and procedures
Participate in and support risk and regulatory initiatives and projects, audits and reviews, and reporting
Ensure all audit points and NPA conditions are fully tracked to completion or closure
Lead on operational incidents and control enhancement, including defining and implementing controls and risk mitigation actions
Oversee and work with KSA Business Management and 2nd and 3rd lines of defence to address business-as-usual issues and requirements
Business Support
Champion and support Investment solutions business in various KSA business and risk forums
Own and drive products business processes and KOPs
Gatekeep for dealing-specific system/ data accesses
Ensure all EQ SLAs in place and regularly reviewed
Coordination with Investment Solutions COO Europe on various regional:
CAO topics (i.e. strategy, budgeting and financial management information (revenue, cost), human capital and talent management, outsourcing management, Business Contiunity Planning and other general business support (e.g. training, licencing, etc)
Business Integrity topics (i.e. Product Risk and Control Assessment, Conflicts of Interst, Mandatory Time Away, supervisory frameworks, etc)
Your Skills and Qualifications
Preferably KSA residence / national, due to regulatory requirements
Preferably holder of CME 1 certificate, in line with regulatory requirement
Post/Graduate level degree, with a focus on Banking and Finance
Fluency in English essential, additional languages such as Arabic desirable
Minimum 5 years banking experience, preferably at least 2 years in Wealth Management
Knowledge in WM investment products (Structured Products, Equities, Bonds, Funds, Lending and Deposits including understanding of how WM client orders are handled/ executed)
Experience in business management and trading and controls with strong process design and documentation skills
Project management experience and experience in defining and tracking requirements
Proficient in MS Office applications (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, word) and macro
Meticulous and detail-oriented, strong analytical skills, proficient with statistical analysis and preparing charts and graphs
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels, ability to navigate and work in virtual global teams and matrix organization
Takes ownership, ability to excel under pressure and possess a can-do attitude
Good team player, independent and reliable
