About the position: The Behavox platform covers fundamental aspects of data processing, targeting massive amounts of data coming from various sources, and requires a lot of engineering effort just to store. This is before tackling the even tougher tasks... of processing and making sense of it. Our platform is a powerful tool that helps our clients work their way through billions of data items by means of searching, filtering and visualising of relationships between entities in the system. We've even built our own IDE inside it. Some of the tasks you'll be working on: Apply mathematical (statistical,
) models and techniques in order to identify patterns and anomalies in big unstructured data (including text, voice and trade); Implementation of regulatory requirements using Behavox platform API; Development of applications for Behavox platform; Conduct iterative back-testing and further application development; provide product feedback; Maintain up to date knowledge of banking regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory bodies including FINRA, MAS, FCA and AMF; Prepare documentation to explain the use and functions of algorithms to customers. Skills & Requirements: Tertiary degree in statistics / mathematics / linguistics; Knowledge of and experience working with Java, Groovy, and Python programming languages; Upper-intermediate level of English and above; The ability to learn new subjects quickly, problem solving skills; Responsibility, stress resistance, the desire to make a high-quality product; You're ready to do a test task; Ready to relocate to London (UK). Desired: Experience in analysing large unstructured datasets including text, voice and trade; Professional experience (at least 1 year full time equivalent) in an applied statistics role; Knowledge of financial markets / instruments / flows; Knowledge of and experience working with linguistics and methods of natural languages processing; Knowledge of and experience working with cluster computing frameworks (Apache Spark, ...); Knowledge of and experience working with different methods of machine learning; Knowledge of other foreign languages.
