You will become a part of Moscow Representative office team and will be responsible for sales of full Genetic Analysis portfolio (Sanger Sequencing / Capillary Electrophoresis, real-time PCR / qPCR workflows, MicroArray/MA workflow) of LSG (Life Science Groupe) products on the territory of Russia & CIS.
GSD Business Development Manager maintains effective customer and distributor relations, develops opportunities for growth within an existing customer base, and assures market penetration and profitability while achieving sales and profit forecasts In your role you will report to Sr. Distributor manager Russia & CIS.
Key responsibilities: Achieve the agreed sale target. Identify sales opportunities with new and existing customers and successfully manage the sales of Company products and services to achieve or exceed the assigned territory sales plan Perform daily sales calls and vendor relations with all customers and potential customers in the assigned... territory primarily by phone, but face-to-face customer meetings may be required Maintain and increase current customer database through Company customer relations management software (Salesforce.com) Communicate key competitive activities, market trends, and changing customer directions to the organization Prospect and develop relationships with new customers while also nurturing existing customer relationships with an overall focus on increasing revenue and reagent attachment with customers using both existing and newly placed platforms Regularly provide written and verbal communication of successes, failures, best practices, to improve the overall operating efficiency of the team, region and sales organization Communicate with research and development scientists at all accounts for product information and sales presentations Communicate account objectives and action plans to management via daily interactive updates, monthly summary reports and other communication vehicles Biweekly accurate Sales forecast. Anticipate pipeline changes and plan to address shortfalls. Participate in sales, product and systems training, marketing campaigns, special projects as presented by the Company to develop appropriate selling skills consistent with Company philosophy, policies, and procedures Capitalize on training opportunities to develop genetic analysis market and product knowledge to a level to be able to successfully conduct an effective telephone sales presentation. Coordinate contracts/quotations within Company Guidelines by extending competitive pricing as needed to maintain and increase margin/revenues with guidance from Management and/ or marketing Support marketing programs and programs in other territories as assigned Manage and close sales leads generated by colleagues in Marketing and Technical Support Experience/Qualifications/Qualities: Minimum 3+ years of sales experience within Life Sciences required A Bachelors Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology or Biochemistry Advanced Degrees are a plus, but not a requirement. There is a preference for individuals with hands-on laboratory Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills Excellent organization skills and individual sense of accountability Strong capabilities to interface effectively with all customer types Strong interpersonal skills facilitating teamwork and fostering collaboration across teams and organizations. A goal-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet and surpass goals and objectives. Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing business environment A love of the competitive fight and hunger to win business by taking business away from strong competitors. Must be willing to travel to customer locations, if needed (up to 25%) Good level of English is key.
