Scope of Role The role would be responsible to support the ER/IR Manager in statutory compliance and capability building for PCI contracted / contingent work force. He/she will ensure all statutory compliance of service providers along with cascading the capability building and implementation on new/old labour laws. He/she will also support in laison with labor and industrial related with Labor Department, Govt Agencies and CBA Union when required. During the course of ensuring ER & IR compliance, the role would support in interacting with Govt officials and discuss relevant issues, seek necessary alignments and execute decisions agreed. The role working closely with the EHS, Supply Chain and HR, would also be responsible for planning training / engagement sessions with the workers (Contracted), coordinate and facilitate mandatory trainings of 3rd Party workers on CoC, Human Rights and work place violence. The role involves extensive coordination... internally and externally and therefore would require expertise in negotiating skills. Mandate of this position is to ensure total Human Rights & Statutory Compliances along with managing tasks related to welfare of employees while ensuring ethical practices.
Accountabilities Leading capability agenda for Service providers to strengthen compliance frame work over plants. Lead employees welfare intiatives and facilitate employees on company sponsored benefits support in implemention of short and long term actions to address, reduce and avoid welfare related operational and administrative concerns. Building capability and ensure close monitoring on all core HR Operations for 3rd Party Employees and implement HR best practices / policies. Ensuring Statutory Compliance for PepsiCo & 3rd Party Employees including Contractors Licenses, EOBI, PESSI, GLI, Education Cess, Medical / Death Claims. Lead audit and annual screening,working, auditing and disbursement working of service provider Bonuses and Workers Profit Participation Funds. Ensuring Medical compliance of service provider worker periodic medical examinations of all contracted work force and up date their records. Lead 3rd Party Contractors Management including contracts, terms / deliverables, disciplinary controls and closures on all disciplinary / CoC incidents, redressal of grievances and implement PCI APACs Human Rights Policies / Agenda. Capability Building of Contractors (Third Party Due Diligence TPDD), Plant Leadership and front line on statutory compliances and disciplinary procedures to reduce / mitigate legal risks and maintain industrial peace. Lead diversity agenda among 3rd party workers at plant (Male/Female/ Disable Employees). Lead and introduce ER best practices and their process streamlining. Support in reviewing JDs of workers / supervisors working in various areas and support service providers in dilevering their KPIs as per agreemnts. Coordinate with EHS Department and lead agenda of reduced work place vioalnce and ensuing discipline Back up Time Office & Payroll Lead in their absence.
Key Skills/Experience Required Negotiation & investigation skills. Good knowledge of Local Labor Laws and understanding of Human Rights Policies. Experience in Human Resource Core Areas. Experience of handling Unionized Staff / CBA and service providers.
